Al Bradley biography
I have operated 3am Recordings since 2003, releasing deep & tech house from a range of new & established artists featuring on the label during that time. To give you a brief background on myself, I've been DJing since the mid-90's & have played all over the UK in that time, including Mint Club (Leeds), Chibuku (Liverpool), The End (London), Deep Down & Dirty (the Key, London), Stompaphunk (Brighton), Ultragroove (Edinburgh) & loads more, plus for 18 months was resident for Bugged Out over at Sankeys in Manchester, alongside Phil Towers (Cosmic Groove Transmission), playing mainly in the 2nd room (contact Johnno Burgess - johnno@buggedout.net), playing everything from deeper house through to slow-mo techno. I also held a residency at Dirty Filthy in Burnley (contact Pete at info@dirty-filthy.co.uk), where I played pretty much tech-house/techno. I've also played twice for PE! Music at Prozak in Krakow, Poland (the first one was a 2 page feature in DJ Mag back in June 2005), I've also played over at Smart Bar in Chicago with Heather Doble & Andy Caldwell, plus in 2006 & 2007 I did 3am parties during SONAR in Barcelona, plus in June 2011 a 3am Recordings exclusive mix was sent out via DJ Magazine Spain’s podcast during SONAR 2011 week. Ever since buying his first pair of 1210s at the age of 16, Rory has immersed himself in underground dance music. His sound is one that draws influences from lost nights at intimate venues and club nights such as Back to Basics and Mint Club in Leeds, Freakin in York and the old Bomb in Nottingham. It is a style that has little respect for genre boundaries and instead focuses on creative electronic music, encompassing elements of deep house, techno, tech house and more.

Rory is now based in Leeds where you can catch him playing at his on.repeat night every Friday at Pin Bar, occasionally at Distrikt and with more nights planned for the near future...

This is an all vinyl mix recorded on 2x Technics 1210 and DJM 700 with one of Rory's own productions added in post production

This week we have Steff Fagan (Deep in the bowels of house).

Steff Fagan’s affection for the underground world of Djing started at the very early age of 14 . also known as Jenko in some circles, his various influences of Drum & Bass & Nicky Blackmarket, The Rat Pack, Ellis Dee, Jumpin Jack Frost and early Carl Cox to name but a few, were the foundation of his love for electronic music. Acid House gurus such as Acen and 808 State, all guided him towards a life of Djing , he decided to follow his peers and start collecting vinyl from some of Dublins most famous vinyl stores, the Abbey Discs and Music powers and Tag records shops of yester year were all religiously trawled through every week without fail to get that next limited edition 12 inch. It wasn't before long that his skills were noticed around his native Blanchardstown, with regular guest slots on local pirate radio stations playing his signature up tempo progressive and rhythmic sound.

People were starting to take notice, as he was the ever present at many an underground party north and south of the city, as well as his first club break in Frenchie’s niteclub later to follow a two hour slot at Dublins now infamous Temple of Sound, to which his set opened up more opportunities on the Dublin clubscene to impress.

After travelling extensively across Asia and Austrailia and reveling in some of the worlds top superclubs such as Bed in Bangkok and Home in Sydney, Steff returned home to Dublin to set up Propaganda with fellow Dj and long time friend Dave Perkins.

Together they enjoyed many a successful party under the alias Rpm Regime and later Propaganda Djs playing resident at Propaganda in Radio City and The Bia Bar alongside Irish and UK guests such as Rennaisance very own Chris Cargo and also Ciarán Reilly and Noel McDonald. The list of clubs to have had him play, spreads right across Dublin City, from Andrews Lane, The Sugar Club, The Hub , The Underground, Spy ,The Turks Head , Crawdaddy , The Pod , and The Tripod all played host to some of Dublins hottest parties including The Irish Dance Music Awards in 2010.

Steff has enjoyed the spoils of clubnights such as Download @ Pod, Deep Into The Bowels Of House, Slipdisk , The Room , Fibre and Shakedown to name but a mere few and also shared the stage with internationally recognized Slam and Kid Dub at the Mystic festivals during the summer months.

Today Steff embraces the digital era of Tech house but his classic sets of Club & Hip House from the early years have also seen him switch the Cdjs for the Technics 1210s with ease, His love for the 4’4 rhythm in all its forms seen him enrol in a national higher diploma course in sound engineering in order to continue his love with the music through production. His Tech House sets today incorporates rolling bass drums and sky scraping synths, along with a real knowledge for building sets to suit venues and the ever growing appreciative revellers that fill our clubs today. Jenko’s ability and talent of combining cutting edge fresh grooves with pulsing basslines and crisp percussive breaks has seen him hold down respect amongst his fellow circuit Djs on the Dublin scene, Steff continues to represent and believe in the revival of the Underground Dance industry in Ireland.

Emanuel Satie is a producer and live act based in Frankfurt/Main (Germany). With releases on Cécille Records, Monique Musique and Freaky Vibes he's made himself a name for his driving, old school tech house productions recently. Always groovy and for the dancefloor, but also with musical elements, warmth and soul.

As a live act Emanuel brings something special to the table. Presenting his own material in a new and unheard way. His live act mainly consists of his own unreleased stuff, some edits especially made for his performances and only a few of his released tracks, thus making every performance unique and something special.

In the end, making people scream and shout and giving them "those special moments that they will remember for a long time" is the only thing that counts for Emanuel.

Jens Wolf, better known as CANCELORE, was born in 1981 near by Chemnitz.
Already at a young age, he started listening to his fathers music collection, which was embossed by Jazz and Bossa Nova or got influenced by his mothers love for Harry Belafonte. This laid the foundation for his deep sense of music, which you can hear down to the present day.
But also Techno, Hip-Hop and Punk'n'Roll played a big role within his musical development. The year 1995 was a turning point in his life where he mainly focused on techno and house music and started off producing. Dj-ing followed shortly after that and contributed to improve his skills and knowledge of quality music. Nowadays you can still find this slight breeze of jazz but also the roots of house music in his music style.

To sum it up: Its a bumpin' enjoyment just for your pleasure!

Currently he is working with Ireland based DJ and Producer Stephen Austin as WonderKane which reflects his deeper side of house music.

David Perkins aka 'Blackmode' was born in Dublin, Ireland. Since his early years he developed a love for music. Electronic Dance Music became his passion during his teenage years and David began Djing & producing. It was not long before David began hosting his own radio show on Kiss FM and began to play sets at various clubs throughout Dublin.
Over the years David has played sets and held residencies in clubs Like Temple Theatre,Tripod,Think Tank,Wax,Radio City,Marquee, The Undergound and Life Festival.In recent years David has played alongside Danny Howells Alex Cellar & and Moodymanc.

David's productions have become his main focus in recent times and he has begun to develop a Deep House sound for which he is becoming known following several productions. David had his first release with the 'Rolling Beatz EP' on highly respected South American House Imprint "Muzik Xpress Records" alongside Dublin DJ/Producer David De Valera.Following hot on the heels of the first release, "The Punks Dont Run" was Davids next release and is currently out on Brazilain imprint Club 66Records.Both EPS gaining massive support throughout the scene.
David's next release is the "Hot Pockets EP" also on the way on Club 66 Records in the July/August 2011.August 2011 then sees the release of a remix David done of Irish Producer Darren Doherty's track "Hippno Phatt" coming out on Spanish tech house label Tecnove Records Ibiza Room Sampler 2011 . This EP also features massive tech house duo, El Mundo & Satori on remix duties.David has taken his sound in a more Deep direction and has many more collaborations, solo productions and remixes lined up for the remainder of 2011 including an EP Relaese on and another remix alongside fellow irish producer Max Conte on Deso Records . Another release on UK labael, Freche Fruchte is also on the way and maybe some time to fit in some DJ sets.
David also has a new radio show called Lo-Fi Radio which he co-presents with fellow Dublin DJ David Connell,which broadcasts every Saturday from 6-8pm GMT on www.playfmdublin.com. and features regular interviews with some of the best known names in the buisness and a constant supply of fresh new music each week.
David is currently in the process of launching a new record label called Swink Records with Fellow Irish DJ/producer Max Conte,with the first release due in October 2011. Swink will provide an outlet for a unique house sound and also to showcase some of the best talent from Ireland and abroad.2011 is promising to be a big year....

This week we have an amazing live dub techno house set from Samuel/hesitate featuring all of his own tracks and remixes!!

samuel/hesitate discovered his love for music since he was a little child. At an early age he started playing violin
and listening to classical music. At the age of 14 he started making his own music ... first only on the soundmaker on the console playstation 1.

Couple of years later samuel discovered electronic music. A friend of him took him to a club in basel and since there his life changed. There he started
with house and electro. But after 6 Months he met a friend who was already playing vinyl and producing in switzerland , so he explained him the Classic Story
of "Hi Tech Soul" ... While after that samuel did his first remix and that was released on jacksum records with the german producer danasa (sueno du una noche).

His current release now, who is gonna released at 31.Oktober 2011 on Analog Response is moving between Detroit and soft Dubtechno. He also has an ep forthcoming on Freche Fruchte recordings showcasing his housier side!!

This week we have Max Conte (DeepIntoTheBowelsOfHouse) with an awesome mix. Max and Blackmode have an awesome ep of deep grooves forthcoming on Freche Fruchte recordings.....

Max Conte has bubbled under for four years on the local and international scene as a dj, promoter and radio presenter, before breaking out in 2011. Having started promoting in 2007 in various venues, he has gone on to greater success with his DeepIntoTheBowelsOfHouse operation.

On the club front he has traveled to Holland on several occasions this year and he also supported the likes of Alex Celler, Agnes, Trus’Me, Alex Niggemann, Boris Werner,Massi/Dl, Butch, Matthias Tanzmann and many more. He has also hosted a D.I.B.H tent at the award winning Life festival in Ireland in 2010/11.
Max's productions and remixes have been turning heads this year with "Dark On Fire" to be released by Logo Tunisia Records and " Handle me" will feature on Electronique Ibiza Sampler album 2011.

Max’ style is Organic funky soul muisc. Phat on the groove and thick on the basslines.
